IRWIN MANOIM:

Creative Director Irwin Manoim, joint founder and editor of the Weekly Mail (now the Mail & Guardian) is the country's most experienced newspaper design and editorial consultant. 		Newspapers he has designed over a 35 year career include the Mail & Guardian, Citizen and Saturday Citizen, Natal Witness, City Press, This Day, Volksblad, Sunday Sun, Sondag, Daily Dispatch, Business Day, Sunday Express and Sunday Times Magazine.
He produces prototypes for market research, redesigns existing publications, and trains newspaper production staff in design. He also teaches journalism at the University of Witwatersrand.


He consults on editorial content strategies, print and online synergies, and newspaper editing techniques. He has worked in South Africa and the USA, in print and on the web.
